Assessment and Council Permits
Every transplanting job starts with a site assessment by an AQF Level 3-5 certified arborist who evaluates the tree’s health, root structure, and suitability for relocation. Where a council permit is required, Trees Down Under manages the application directly – you won’t need to chase paperwork or navigate local regulations on your own.
We work with every local council in Sydney – permits don’t have to be a headache. We handle that side of things so the tree can be moved properly and legally.

Relocation Using Our Own Crane Fleet
For larger transplanting jobs, Trees Down Under uses its own crane fleet with no third-party hire fees passed on to you. Root pruning and preparation are carried out in advance to give the tree the best chance of surviving the move. Owning the equipment means the crew controls the timeline and the method – there’s no waiting on outside contractors or unexpected delays.
Replanting and Site Clean-Up
Once the tree is secured in its new position, the team completes a full site clean-up, removing all green waste and leaving both the origin and destination areas tidy. To discuss your project or arrange a same-day quote, call 0475 463 597 any time.
