The usual triggers
A report becomes necessary when a tree falls under the Tree Preservation Order, or when its condition or position puts people or property at risk. In Annangrove, that tends to mean renovations and new builds, storm-damaged trees, and trees growing too close to buildings.
Which trees need council approval
Approval covers protected species, trees above set trunk dimensions, and trees in heritage or conservation areas. Check the council’s current rules before any tree is removed or pruned. The Tree Preservation Order and permit details are on the council’s tree management pages.
We work with every local council in Sydney. Permits don’t have to be a headache once the right report is in place.

What the process looks like
From first visit to finished job, it runs in four steps:
- A free tree inspection on your Annangrove property, with the tree assessed before any removal or pruning.
- A written assessment from an AQF Level 3-5 certified arborist.
- Permit guidance and support lodging the application online.
- Pruning or removal once approval is confirmed, with site clean-up included.
