Assessment, Permits and Planning
Every job starts with a free inspection from an arborist who checks the tree, the access and anything it could land on. We take photos of the tree before removal so the plan and the permit paperwork match what is standing on your block. The team confirms whether a permit is needed before any job is booked.
Blue Mountains City Council’s tree preservation rules set what applies to your property, and we guide you through the approval steps and arborist report if one is required.
Lifting Sections Clear of the House and Garden
Arborists climb the tree and rig each section to the truck-mounted crane. The crane takes the weight, so cut pieces are lifted straight up and over the roof, fences and garden beds instead of dropping near them.
Because Trees Down Under owns its crane fleet, there is no third-party hire markup and no crane surcharge added to the quote.
Who Does the Work
Crews are led by AQF Level 3 to 5 certified arborists. The business is fully licensed, carries liability and workers compensation insurance, and is Cm3 certified. With more than 20 years in the trade since 2005, the team plans each lift with precision before the first cut.
Once the last section is down, the crew cuts up the timber and completes full site clean-up, including green waste and debris disposal, leaving the property tidy.
